36 x 48 in acrylic on canvas.

I'm having fun with dots... this is the first time I've done one like this, and even though it took forever, I'm addicted to it! I've already got stacks of ideas from doing this one, so stay tuned for future dot paintings of all kinds!

There's something about it that reminds me both of tile mosaics and tapestry. Love the process!

Update: The original has sold to someone from Washington, DC, USA 7th Oct. I'm yet to find out their name... but THANK YOU!!

Disclaimer: this is not an aboriginal dot painting, as I am not aboriginal.

Great work, I love the details.

How long did it take to do?

This one took about a week or so. Hard to tell, with all the distractions :giggle:

My advice is dont do too much in one go. I did my first dot painting in one go and by the end of it my eyes were wrecked. Dot-blindness :P
