This was taken at Little Sahara, Kangaroo Island.

My father, my son, and I usually walk over several big dunes to go searching for rare wildflowers (we found several orchids I'd never seen before this year). But I love taking photos of the dunes and sand patterns as well. I used an ill-fitting polarising filter over my lens for this.

The sandboarders, who normally never go beyond the first dune, must have been wondering where we were going!

THanks Kerry! I was mesmerized by the zig zag patterns of the sand on the day. They were hard to look at, and hard to look away.
